The 2019 Metropolitan High School Theater Awards, or Metro Awards for short, honor exceptional musical theater productions, talented actors and actresses and devoted creative teams who take to the stage every spring in high schools in Rockland, Westchester, Putnam and Bergen counties.
To be considered for a Metro Award, schools must register and agree to have three of the contest's 30 judges see a performance and evaluate it on a long list of criteria. Results are then tabulated to arrive at a list of nominees.

Outstanding Actress in a Supporting Role - Charlie Fitzpatrick (Rosie)
Outstanding Comic Performance Male - Andrew DiFabbio (Harry Bright)
Outstanding Vocal Performance Male - RJ Frankenberry (Sky)
The award ceremony took place on Monday, June 10 at the Purchase College Concert Hall, in Purchase, New York. Congratulations to all the winners and nominees!
